Alicia Keys played a packed concert at the Verizon Center in Washington DC Sunday, April 14. This was her first big arena tour and used the performance to tell a story, weaving her songs and dialogue together. At times it seemed a bit frenzied and hits like "A Woman's Worth" suffered a bit from over production, but when Keys was behind one of the many pianos/keyboards brought out on stage she seemed most at home. Overall though she did a great job working the stage, putting together a great overview of her hits and new tracks from "Girl on Fire", having the audience sing along and taking them on her journey as she continues to grow as an artist.
